An Inclusive Vision

Vintage Works, a women-led enterprise, is dedicated to fostering an inclusive workforce and a better world. Our Equal Opportunity in Employment policy actively welcomes and supports women, intersex individuals, ethnic minorities, and those marginalized in society. We staunchly oppose discrimination in all forms, including gender, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, political views, language, appearance, culture, class, and religion.

We’re building a culture where everybody belongs. Every day we empower women by honing their skills and elevating them to leadership roles. We educate, mentor, and guide managers from underrepresented communities while maintaining meritocracy. Differences in backgrounds, identities, and the way we think make our teams stronger and ignite our innovation. We invite everyone to join us in our mission to break down systemic barriers and bias and create an inclusive culture of learning from one another and growing together.

Nurturing Community, Empowering Dreams

In the sanctum of our workshop, a convergence of diverse imaginations takes place, shaping a collective dedication to values that uplift our craft. The creativity emanating from Vintage Works finds expression through the skillful hands of our artisans, craftswomen, and craftsmen. True to our promise, we create more than a workplace - offering a nurturing environment, competitive benefits, and enduring relationships.

Our commitment to a culture of togetherness extends beyond the workplace, creating a tapestry of support and empowerment for our community. Our inter-village transport network provides free commutes, alleviating the burden of fuel costs and vehicle maintenance. Free lunch breaks foster a festive environment, uniting us in the joy of shared meals and strengthening our sense of belonging.

Empowerment is at our core, and we understand that financial independence and education are powerful equalizers. We hire for attitude and invest in world-class training, teaching skills such as; hand painting, carving, crocheting, knitting, and hand embroidery to empower our community.

In times of need, our on-site medical facility ensures the well-being of our team, providing free First Aid and a stocked pharmacy. We've spent millions settling medical bills for our workers and their families.

Philanthropy

Dedicated to using our business as a force for good, we prioritize giving back to our community in meaningful ways, particularly focusing on creating opportunities for the underprivileged.

One significant initiative involves donating a percentage of our profits to support orphaned children in our local area, and we've gone a step further by adopting numerous orphaned children, ensuring they receive a world-class education and a quality life until adulthood.

Additionally, Vintage Works has taken on the responsibility of funding a fully equipped school in Daska, offering free education to underprivileged children from surrounding villages. Our commitment extends beyond traditional education, as we impart industry-related skills to empower these students for a successful future.

Hence, Vintage Works isn’t just making furniture, it’s building a community.
